A Beam of Divinity – Seneca
To see a man fearless in danger,
Untainted by lust,
Happy in adversity,
Composed in turmoil,
And laughing at all those things
which are coveted or feared by others -
All men must acknowledge,
that this can be nothing else but a beam of divinity
animating a human body.
